Prescribed Botox or curious about it?

How it works at
Cascade Headache

  • At your appointment, we'll confirm if you meet criteria for the diagnosis of Chronic Migraine. If appropriate, Botox may be prescribed as treatment.

  • We'll send your prescription for Botox to a specialty pharmacy. If insurance approves it, the pharmacy will ship the medication directly to Cascade Headache and we'll keep it safe until your appointment.

  • You'll come in for your in-office injections. We use the standard FDA-approved protocol of 31 injection sites around the head, neck, and shoulders and can provide additional customization based on your specific pain pattern.

  • You'll receive a detailed superbill to submit to your insurance and to the Abbvie Botox Savings Program for reimbursement.

Will Insurance Help Cover Botox?

Usually, yes!

In many cases, your insurance may cover the cost of the Botox medication itself, even if you’re paying us out-of-pocket for the injection visit. We’ll work with your policy's preferred specialty pharmacy to help you get approval and ensure your medication is shipped safely to our office.

How Much Will I Pay?

Your Botox injection visit costs $350, paid at the time of service. FSA or HSA cards can be used.
Most patients pay little or nothing for the actual Botox medication, thanks to insurance and specialty pharmacy support.
You’ll also receive a detailed superbill to submit for reimbursement, and we’ll guide you on using the Botox Savings Program to help reduce your out-of-pocket costs.

💡 Many patients get a check from Abbvie covering their full injection fee!
