Pricing & Insurance

At Cascade Headache, I’ve chosen not to work directly with insurance companies. I know this may feel like a barrier, but this model allows me to provide more time, flexibility, and individualized care than the insurance-driven system typically allows.

When healthcare is dictated by insurance contracts, visits get rushed, options get limited, and your needs take a backseat to bureaucracy. By staying independent, I can focus on what actually helps: thorough evaluations, personalized plans, and responsive follow-up—without interference.

Out-Of-Network Reimbursement

While I don’t bill insurance directly, many patients are able to get reimbursed by submitting a superbill (an itemized receipt) to their insurance provider for out-of-network care.

You’ll pay upfront at the time of your visit, and I’ll provide you with all necessary documentation, and you can handle the reimbursement process directly with your insurer. I recommend contacting your insurance company in advance to ask about their out-of-network policies.

Making Care More Accessible

I recognize that paying out-of-pocket can be a real challenge. To help, I offer the following options:

  • Payment Plans: Flexible installment options to spread out the cost

  • Sliding Scale: Reduced pricing based on actual demonstrated financial need

If cost is a barrier, you’re welcome to reach out. I’m happy to discuss your situation and try to find a solution that works for both of us.

Clinic Policies

A credit or debit card is required to reserve your appointment and will be charged in full at the time of your visit.

Appointments may be rescheduled or canceled online up to 24 hours in advance. If you need to make changes with less than 24 hours’ notice, please contact the clinic by email, phone, or text.

  • Late reschedules (within 24 hours) will result in a $50 fee.

  • No-shows (including arriving more than 15 minutes late) will result in a 50% charge.

Holding an appointment and not attending prevents others from receiving timely care. Thank you for your understanding and respect for shared time and access.
